Linda's Story: Linda McCullough is a Cree Métis artisan originally from Cree Lake in northern Saskatchewan. As a little girl Linda learned to bead from her mom, an expert mukluk and moccasin maker. Sadly after attending residential school, she lost interest and didn’t start beading again until she began to regain pride in her ancestry as an adult.
She and her daughter Roanne now have their own beadwork business called Lucia-Rose Métis/Cree Artisans. It is named in honour of Linda’s Cree mom and grandmother.
