This exciting new collection features a series of collaborative works between Manitobah Mukluks and Storyboot Artists. The Manitobah Artist-Beaded Series blends the traditional artistry of the Storyboot Project with the functionality of our modern mukluk design.

Storyboot Artists begin the process by creating beautiful beaded art using leather, velvet or melton wool as a canvas to share their unique stories. No two pairs are the same as each artist draws on personal experience and many creative, cultural and artistic influences. Manitobah Mukluks receives and carefully assembles the artwork into the form of the iconic Kanada Mukluk - right here at our headquarters in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

The finished product is an exclusive, one-of-a-kind mukluk combining ancient artistry with modern materials.  For every pair of Artist-Beaded Mukluks, the artist has already been paid in full for their contribution, totaling 25 to 45 percent of the total proceeds.

About the Artist: Felicia Mitchell is a Mi'gmaq woman from Listuguj, Quebec. She has been beading for the past 5 years. Her journey with beadwork began as a hobby and a way of giving back to her instructors from college. It quickly turned into something much, much more. Felicia has been building her brand "Beadwork By Felicia" on social media since early 2013 and has sold her work in all Canadian provinces, over 25 USA states and in Europe. She lives a sober lifestyle and accredits this decision in her successes. In order to follow her passion and fulfill her dream of owning a supply store, she is actively pursuing a diploma in Business Administration.
