Anne’s Story: Anne Bell is of Dene and Slavey decent from Fort Nelson First Nation in northern BC and has been practicing her art for over 34 years. Her passion started from a young age while watching her mother and aunties sew and create beautiful work. Her mom began teaching her around the age of 8 and her love for Native arts grew. She is deeply inspired by Native tradition, crafts and ways. In her spare time, Anne enjoys hunting, trapping, gardening, camping, foraging for berries and canning, and working on her certified organic ranch that she owns.

Art and Sole

Proudly crafting the world’s finest Indigenous-inspired footwear.

At Manitobah, we use high-quality materials and talented artisans to create the best mukluks and moccasins in the world. It takes a lot of time and effort to produce Manitobah footwear and we take great pride in the comfort, function and beauty we create. We also take pride in being Canadian, which is why we continue to produce some collections at our Indigenous-owned production facility in Winnipeg, Canada.
