WHAT YOU WILL DO

The Customer Acquisition and Growth Manager is a critical team member for the e-commerce team responsible for leading all digital efforts to bring new users into the brand. 

In this role you will showcase exceptional digital marketing skills and deep understanding of digital tools to drive traffic, new user growth, and lifetime value for Manitobah. You must bring a strong understanding of the complete eCommerce ecosystem and actionable insights, strategies and tactics across paid media, email, and CRM.

A successful Customer Acquisition and Growth Manager must have a deep understanding and integration into the Indigenous culture and history. LOCATION

Hybrid remote for those who live in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and fully remote if you live anywhere else. Travel to Winnipeg for quarterly one-week on-site meetings if working remotely.

KEY RELATIONSHIPS

  • Reports to: VP of E-Commerce/Marketing
  • Direct Reports: None currently but may add team members in the future.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES

  • Support strategic planning for performance marketing, paid digital media, email, and loyalty programs that drive profitable growth and bring our social mission to life. Speak directly to our target consumer addressing their needs, inspiring them, and bringing in new customers to the Manitobah community.
  • Analyze and optimize campaign performance on a daily, weekly, monthly, and ad hoc basis and share performance insights and recommendations to creative teams and incorporate learnings in new brief.
  • Manage multiple agencies across paid media channels including paid search, display, video, paid social, affiliate SEO. Make data-driven decisions on media channel budget allocation as well as creative and audience testing to optimize CPAs across markets and categories.
  • Execute the customer acquisition plan and manage operational expense budgets daily.
  • Understand the customer by analyzing data and research to identify and define insights that drive growth, optimize spending, and increase engagement. Establish consumer cohorts, profiles and journeys that inform marketing campaigns. Use and manage consumer data to forecast and predict business results.
  • Develop relevant KPI targets that show the main revenue performance drivers. Consistently provide reporting on all metrics and create a scoreboard so the company, down to the individual, knows how we are performing.
  • Create and execute a DTC marketing roadmap that is both aggressive and disciplined to increase AOV, repeat purchase rates, and decreases customer churn. Increase CLV through email, lifecycle, SMS Marketing. Invest in retention programs that add brand value and entice customer loyalty to be part of the Manitobah community.

QUALIFICATIONS

Professional Experience:

  • 3-5 years of progressive digital marketing experience in a forward-thinking consumer brand, preferably supporting a global ecommerce channel. 
  • Relevant industry experience in a fast-growing profitable consumer business with a significant DTC channel required, broader footwear, apparel and accessories experience preferred. 
  • Exceptional analytical horsepower and an ability to dive deep to understand inputs, outputs, and all associations. 
  • Track record of driving consumer engagement, capturing those insights, and delivering it to drive the business.
  • Experience forecasting and reporting eCommerce KPIs such as revenue, margin, inventories, traffic, conversion, AOV, LTV, CAC, etc.
  • Develop CRM, Marketing Automation, and email marketing campaigns.
  • Develop and optimize affiliate and loyalty programs.
  • Collaborate closely with brand marketing and content creation team to develop creative for all customer acquisition programs. Develop and execute A/B tests to optimize programs.

Educational Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related business field required.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing agencies and freelance talent.
  • Experience with Klaviyo or other similar email platforms.
  • Experience with paid media ad platforms – Meta and Google.
