WHAT YOU WILL DO
You will be responsible for providing support in various design-related tasks, including but not limited to:
- Creating illustrations from concept drawings, revising line art within Illustrator drawings, and applying colours to Illustrator CAD files.
- Assisting in the creation of technical drawings, which involve providing detailed and accurate measurements and colour specifications.
- Aid in competitor research, brand history, and consumer awareness.

LOCATION
Hybrid remote for those who live in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and fully remote if you live anywhere else. Our head office and flagship store are both located at the Forks in Winnipeg. You must love to travel, as frequent travel is required for this role.
KEY RELATIONSHIPS
Reports to: Design Director
Key Relationships: Product Development Team

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Management:
- Manage assigned color up and low complexity new upper and totally new projects.
- Execute all details from line start to commercialization to achieve on-time buy-ready.
- Concentrate on low to medium-complexity projects with the opportunity for exposure to increasingly complex projects.
- Partner with the Development Director on seasonal last development as assigned.
- Learn the development cycle, blueprints and last development process and relevant constructions.
- Represent the product team at sales, marketing, and product meetings both with internal and external customers.
Teamwork:
- Actively participate in product related meetings including cross functional team meetings, product reviews, seasonal materials, and tear-down meetings.
- Develop competitive intelligence and market awareness.
- Fully support the team with accurate tech pack data and details.
- Work with Senior PLM, Director of Development and Design Director as needed on all aspects of product creation.
IDEAL EXPERIENCE
Professional Experience:
- 1 to 3 years of footwear, accessories or industrial design experience or a related field.
- Must have a core working knowledge of Illustrator, CAD creation and Microsoft Office.
Educational Position Requirements:
- A formal education and subsequent undergraduate/graduate degrees, such as a bachelor's degree, preferably in Fashion Design, Industrial Design, or related field are nice to have, but we are most interested in the incumbent’s total experience and professional achievements.
