Why does winter have to end?

Our Tamarack Mukluk silhouette gets a beautiful refresh with intricate etchings by Anishinaabe artist and designer, Emily Kewageshig from Saugeen Ojibwe Nation. Perfect for frigid Canadian winters (warmth rated for up to -32C) and slushy midwinter melts, this tall full-grain leather mukluk has a warm, soft sheepskin foot bed and is fully waterproof to a height of four inches. It also features our new Glacier Grip sole for extra confidence when walking in icy conditions.

Perfect for slush.

The AuthenTEC Waterproof System lets you take on winter in style with boots crafted with three layers of waterproof sealant, rich waterproof leather and suede and a full sheepskin footbed that keeps you dry and cozy all day.

Manitobah conducts rigorous waterproof and temperature testing using a minimum 50,000 flex standard.

Couldn't be happier

I've been wearing my Tamaraks for about a month now, and they still continue to blow me away. The shipping was unbelievably fast. They came in a gorgeous box, with a certificate of authenticity. They fit perfectly, and are absolutely gorgeous. I didnt think they'd hold up to their warmth standards, but they completely do! I have poor circulation, so warmth and comfort were my biggest concern, and these beautiful boots live up to my high expectations. It's been -20 to -30 the last couple weeks, and my feet don't feel the cold at all. Ive walked on ice, throgh slush, and even a few deep puddles to test out their waterproofing system, and my feet have stayed dry and warm. ALSO - they are SO easy to clean! Just a wipe with a damp cloth, and boom. Brand new looking boots. I couldnt be happier with my purchase, and am already contemplating which pair to buy next!

Waterproof Leaf Tamarack

An absolute pleasure to walk in. I really wanted a boot where I could feel the path beneath my feet and with these I can, I can. They are warm as long as I am moving and they look great. Perhaps because the sole is thin enough to feel the path the treads are not very deep so they slip on a steep slope. I also found I needed to go up one size to get a comfortable fit. But I am very happy with them and they are perfect for this particularly cold winter.
