The 'mukluk' is an Indigenous word for 'winter boot'. Our ancestors created them thousands of years ago out of natural hides and fur in order to survive in the coldest places in Canada. This Venture Mukluk is a very iconic mukluk style and has been passed down to us from generation to generation. Now as a contemporary Métis company, we continue the tradition by combining modern techniques and materials to make functional mukluks for urban environments. The footbed is sheepskin-lined and the sole was made in partnership between Vibram and an Indigenous artist.

July sales!

The boots are beautiful. Good materials, feel soft and (hopefully) warm. I’ll know for sure this winter!!

Couldn't pull them up!

I read that these were smaller than your usual foot size, so I got an 11 to be safe. They felt very comfortable on my feet, but I couldn't pull them up my shins. I called the lady and these boots in size 11 have a 16 inch top and I have 18" calves. :(

My Wife's Mukluks

My Wife loves them! She says they are very warm and comfortable but is afraid to get them dirty so I look forward to getting another pair and a pair for myself.

Venture Mukluks

I have bought several pairs of mukluks in the past, either from the Shopping Channel or from Town Shoes and, I have always LOVED my mukluks. However, I am quite disappointed with the recent pair that I bought directly from Manitobah Mukluks. The fur is already coming off the pelt and, so there are bald spots on my boots.

Venture Mukluk

I love the look of the Venture Mukluk, but i ordered my regular size 9 (I have the Gatherer in 9, I have the short Metis in 9) with the vibram sole and they were way too small for me and they wouldn't go up over my calf (and I have average calf size). So I was pretty disappointed with that style. The low star rating is simply due to the very inconsistent sizing. Thanks.
