Gatherer brings innovation to a classic plains mukluk silhouette. The streamlined design, fleece-lined 15-inch full grain leather shaft, and sheepskin-lined footbed make her extremely warm and very wearable. But it’s the rich details—from a shaft-top drawstring to the lovely grasses hand-etched into the rich leather—that will make your heart sing year after year. This true classic is rated to -32C.

Beautiful, but toes are cold!

The boots are beautiful, but they are not very warm. I was looking for something that would keep my toes warm in cold temperatures and snow; these seemed to have good reviews. Unfortunately, my feet are cold just running around town in -8 degrees Celsius, so they won't be the functional boot I had hoped for.

I have had these a short while and they are excellent in every way. I get at least one compliment every day when wearing. Easy to put on and work in Vancouver rains. Love them and will buy other models in future.

Two reviews in one!

Four stars is an average two ratings. My daughter loves her boots. She did mention though that ties on the sides untie easily. She loves the warmth and ease of putting them on and off. I have a the mid rise pair with tassels and no problem with them. I do find the tread though while very pretty doesn’t grip very well made on packed snow or ice on the sidewalk. I don’t wear them on sidewalks which have accumulated snow or ice. That is disappointing as I walk everywhere around my village but I don’t feel the grip is secure enough in normal winter sidewalks in a village. In a light snowfall they are fine. I always need to check before I go out. My daughter still gives a five star , I give a three for the tread thus a four overall.

My third pair of Manitobah Mukluks.......!

Canadian Indigenous design and Manitobah Mukluk company culture drew me to these boots. The sizes ran larger for me, I'm 8.5, best fit for me is size 7. Easy to return, customer service is 5 star. Pondering another pair with extensive beadwork. Bring on winter! Thank you for my lovely boots.

Well worth the cost!

I’ve only worn these once but they are fabulous - warm, sturdy and protecting.
