Abigail's Story: Abigail Clarke is a Cree artisan, born in LaRonge, Saskatchewan. She spent most of her childhood homeschooled on her family’s trapline 5 hours north. It was here that Abigail and her siblings were taught how to hunt, fish, trap and to not only live - but thrive off the land. Today Abigail works as a Royal Canadian Ranger, a volunteer firefighter and a Spotter/Navigator with the local Civil Aircraft Search and Rescue Association. Abigail loves being outdoors and her hobbies and talents include photography and videography, hunting, fishing, drawing, and of course, making traditional Indigenous footwear such as mukluks and moccasins.

Art and Sole

Proudly crafting the world’s finest Indigenous-inspired footwear.

At Manitobah, we use high-quality materials and talented artisans to create the best mukluks and moccasins in the world. It takes a lot of time and effort to produce Manitobah footwear and we take great pride in the comfort, function and beauty we create. We also take pride in being Canadian, which is why we continue to produce some collections at our Indigenous-owned production facility in Winnipeg, Canada.
