To carry them on their journey.

Our ancestors would pass items down from child to child, passing along some of the joy and wisdom earned by the previous owner as well. These heirloom-worthy waterproof mukluks get better with age. With sturdy craftsmanship and warm-toesies technology like our flexible Bear sole, AuthenTEC waterproofing, and sheepskin footbed, they don’t just withstand a child’s winter adventures—they help make them.

Perfect for slush.

The AuthenTEC Waterproof System lets you take on winter in style with boots crafted with three layers of waterproof sealant, rich waterproof leather and suede and a full sheepskin footbed that keeps you dry and cozy all day.

Manitobah conducts rigorous waterproof and temperature testing using a minimum 50,000 flex standard.

Cute boot, not warm

We were excited to find a line of footwear that sought to preserve and celebrate the art and excellence of indigenous footwear. So we bought a couple pairs. The finish/color of the gatherer boots wore off around edges and seams after their first day in the snow. That was frustrating but fine. However, the kids feet get cold FAST when the weather dips below -4C (or 25F). Probably not for outdoorsy kids. If these were $40, fine, but at the price, we are thoroughly disappointed.

Best winter boot

This is our daughter’s 3rd pair of this boot. They are so warm and waterproof. Easy to slip on and off. The fur lining is cozy and soft. Our daughter loves to wear hers without socks! We’ve passed the pairs she has outgrown to a cousin and they are still like new. Great quality! Great boot for kids!
