Tipi Vibram Sole
1 The Sky represents life-giving water falling as rain and snow.
2 Trees to the right of the tipi represent the Woodland People.
3 To the left are the western mountains.
4 This is the doorway we walk through together as modern hunter-gatherers.
5 Fire tells us our People will always survive. Prairie plains behind are home to the Great Horse and Buffalo People.
6 The swirling Four Winds cleanse as the Sun circles our Mother Earth.

Turtle Vibram Sole
1 A whole circle connects the life energy, yet it is divided to show man and woman, mother and father, the spirit world and the physical world.
2 Throughout the sky, flowing lines repre- sent energy flowing through all beings.
3 Turtle swims towards the prairie grasses that have always sustained life.
4 Legends speak of Turtle Island, a land created when a clump of soil on Turtle's shell grew into what we now call North America. Markings on Turtle's back represent the moon cycles.

Why VibramTM?

When it came time to develop footwear for the city, we challenged Vibram®, the world leader in high-performance rubber soles, to design a sole that could withstand the effects of cold and high-abrasion urban environments (min. 150 NBS).

Vibram® used 70 years of history and a rugged TC1 compound to provide a durable, low-profile sole that could also serve as a canvas for an Aboriginal story. Together we build quality and tradition in every step.
